Hack 1: Get a Linen-Look Tablecloth for Less
Anyone else love the look of a beautiful, organic linen tablecloth but not a fan of the price tag?? One of our favorite hacks is to use a drop cloth as a tablecloth to achieve the look! Specifically, we only buy THESE at Walmart because they come in the most beautiful, neutral beige. They have a few different sizes depending on the size of your table and add such a nice texture. We loved how it provided the perfect warm base to our cozy fall tablescape!
Hack 2: Get Fringed Napkins for Less
We love layering lots of texture on the table. One of our favorite ways to do this is with fringed napkins! Again linen fringed napkins can cost a bit more than you may want to spend on napkins, so we’ll tell you about a super easy way to get the look. All you’ll need are these Flour Sack Kitchen Towels from Walmart and some scissors. Simply snip the end of the towel right on the inside of the hem, then tear the rest of the way down the towel until the whole hem is off. Do this with all 4 sides, then once more with a slit in the middle of the towel. Clean up any loose threads and now you should have two fringed napkins from one towel! You can fold them as they are or take it a step further and dye them any color you’d like.
Hack 3: Add Drama with a Beautiful and Budget-Friendly Dinnerware Set
Having a beautiful dinnerware set can really take your tablescape to the next level. We’re not talking about your grandmother’s china though; choose a modern, patterned stoneware set to elevate the vibe of your dinner! Our favorite set we’ve seen is THIS ONE from Thyme & Table for Walmart Home. We love how the black and white medallion pattern is bold and the gold rim adds a beautiful touch of sophistication. Plus you can’t go wrong with the price tag being under $50 for the 12 piece set! A set like this suddenly becomes part of the tabletop decor.

Bonus tip!! Walmart has so much beautiful fresh produce this time of year. Incorporate some of it into the centerpiece for an organic, inviting look! We chose artichokes and Bosc pears because we loved the warmth they added to the table.
